Recommended player · HotPlayer
Roku
Roku does not allow sideloading, so 1ClickTV runs through HotPlayer: add the channel, then upload your playlist on hotplayer.app using the code shown on your TV.

- Roku OS
Requirements
- InternetWi-Fi or ethernet on the Roku
- Phone or computerThe playlist is uploaded from a web page
- 1ClickTV playlistYour M3U link or Xtream details — HotPlayer takes both
Good to know: HotPlayer is a paid app: the developer offers a 30-day free trial, after which each TV needs a one-off or yearly activation paid to HotPlayer, not to 1ClickTV. Check hotplayer.app for current pricing. They also warn about fake sites using their name, so type the address yourself rather than following a search result.
Official site: hotplayer.app — the only place we recommend downloading it from.
Setup steps — installing from the Roku Channel Store
-
1
Add HotPlayer to your Roku
On the Roku press Home → Streaming Channels → Search Channels, look for HotPlayer and choose Add channel. You can also add it from channelstore.roku.com while signed in to your Roku account.
-
2
Open it and note your MAC and code
Launch HotPlayer. The screen shows your device's MAC address and a secret code — you need both in the next step, so leave the TV on this screen.
-
3
Upload your playlist on hotplayer.app
On a phone or computer open hotplayer.app and choose Upload List. Enter the MAC address and secret code from your TV.
-
4
Add your 1ClickTV playlist
Paste your M3U playlist URL — or your Xtream Codes details, which HotPlayer also supports — then save. Ask our support if you only have one format and need the other.
-
5
Reload on the TV
Restart the channel on the Roku and your playlist appears. When the 30-day trial ends, activate that TV from the Activation page on hotplayer.app.

Please note: IPTV Smarters Pro / Smarters Player Lite and HotPlayer are independent third-party applications. They are not made by, owned by or affiliated with 1ClickTV, and they are only a temporary recommendation until our own app arrives on your platform. Your 1ClickTV subscription works with them, but their features, pricing and support are their own: the Smarters Smart TV build is free for end users while its Apple version offers a paid in-app upgrade, and HotPlayer charges an activation fee per TV after a 30-day trial. Both developers publish fraud warnings about copycat websites selling “subscriptions” in their name — only use iptvsmarters.com and hotplayer.app.

Troubleshooting
The nine issues our support team sees most often, and exactly what to do about each one.
Almost always Unknown sources being off for the app doing the installing. Re-open Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions and switch it on for Downloader (or your file manager), then run the install again. If the box still refuses, free up at least 500 MB of storage and retry.
On Google TV the option only appears after you unlock developer mode: open Settings → System → About and click Android TV OS build seven times, then go back to Apps → Security & restrictions. On Fire TV it lives under My Fire TV → Developer options.
Check the code is typed exactly as with no spaces. If Downloader reports a network error, your router or DNS may be blocking it — switch the device to a mobile hotspot to test, or set DNS to 1.1.1.1 in your network settings.
Run a speed test on the device itself. Under 15 Mbps, drop the stream quality or use a wired connection. If only some channels buffer, it is the source server, not your box — report the channel to support and we will re-route it. Restarting the router clears most evening slowdowns.
Make sure the username, password and server URL match your subscription email exactly — they are case sensitive and a trailing space will break them. Each subscription allows a set number of connections; sign out on another device and try again.
The app will say your line is inactive. Renew from the Subscriptions page and the same login keeps working — there is nothing to reinstall and your favorites stay.
The app opens but video stays black: switch the player engine in Settings → Playback, then restart the app. On older boxes, choose the Hardware (HW) decoder for 4K channels and HW+ or Software for the rest.
An error code on screen tells us a lot — note it and contact support. Codes in the 400 and 500 range come from the provider server, while Network error means the box lost its connection. Try another channel first to see whether it is one stream or all of them.
Check that the server URL has no http:// typo and no extra slash at the end. If you use an M3U link, open it in a browser on your phone: if it does not download a file there, the link is the problem. Re-adding the playlist keeps your favorites.
